Question: How do I edit text in the .swf file that I have?
Reply: The .swf files are not intended to be edited; however, there are some programs available that are capable of editing them. Please review the FAQ page of the particular template you have licensed - all templates created within the past 2 years will have this page and will have the information on how to edit text.
Generally, there is also either an .fla (requires Macromedia Flash to edit) or an .swi (requires Swish to edit) file, which may be editable. If the template has "dynamic flash" (most all our latest ones do), you will make edits on an included .txt file. Again, instructions will be on the FAQ page of the specific template.
Only our oldest templates have no method of editing whatsoever (and also, no FAQ page) - on these, there is likely a note on either the index or introduction page that says we will make modifications to the "your name" at no charge. You would need, of course, to email us with the details.
